Slab is a brick of a speaker with two 52 mm drivers firing forward and a passive radiator on the back doing the work a bigger box would do. 20 hours at the volume people actually use, which is about 60 percent, and 9 hours flat out. The grille is powder-coated steel and it unclips, so when it takes a dent you replace the grille and not the speaker. IP67, which means it survives a dropped-in-the-sink event and a day at the beach. It charges over USB-C at 18 W and it will charge your phone back out of the same port at 7.5 W, slowly, which is the honest number. Two of them pair into a stereo pair and stay paired.
